Service Foods Hamilton team is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
This role is dedicated to achieving and exceeding sales targets while contributing to Service Foods' success and reputation. You will accomplish this by understanding customer needs, recommending ideal solutions, and fostering long-term partnerships within the food services and hospitality industry.
Immediate Start
Full-time permanent role (up to 40 hours a week)
Monday to Friday (2.30 pm to 11.15 pm) Every 3rd Saturday (morning; 7.30 am to 12.00 pm)
Location: Te Rapa, Hamilton
The job:
Process orders via phone, email, and website, ensuring accurate entry into the ERP system.
Guide customers on product options and suggest additional items to enhance their order.
Deliver top-notch customer support services, addressing inquiries promptly and effectively.
Create detailed quotations and invoices with precision.
Compile end-of-day reports to track sales and inventory.
Coordinate backorders for timely fulfilment.
Assist with various administrative tasks to maintain office efficiency.

The person:
Our ideal candidate will be focused, thorough, and motivated, who enjoys all aspects of customer service duties along with an emphasis on ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the customer service process.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills, qualities, and attributes:
A great communicator with a friendly and confident phone manner
Excellent English speaking, reading & writing skills, and reasonably good arithmetic skills
Excellent computer skills - proficiency in all Microsoft basic applications
Reliable transport
Time management skills are necessary
Attention to detail
Prior NZ experience within this field will be an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of basic food ingredients is essential.
