About the role

As Afimilk’s Customer Support Specialist, you will work alongside farmers, the Afimilk sales team and dealerships to provide on-going pre-sales and post-sales support. This role is all about ensuring dairy farmers understand how to navigate AfiFarm software to best manage their dairy. You will:

Be the AfiFarm Farm Management “expert”.
Support Afimilk’s dairy farmers with training courses and one-on-one training through a range of webinars and presentations so they gain the most value from Afimilk’s monitoring, automation and milking intelligence solutions.
Take service calls and direct inquiries from Afimilk’s farmers and dealers – listening, gathering information and providing them with their own personalised solutions.
Be the face of Afimilk, represent the business and brand at a range of industry events, conferences and trade shows.
Report and collaborate closely with Afimilk’s Application Support Manager for NZ & AUS to ensure all Afimilk farmers and dealers are happy and well-supported.
Work closely with the Afimilk Sales team across New Zealand to assist with pre-sales presentations to individual or groups of farmers.
Create and manage a library of training material – articles, tutorials, brochures and presentations to provide visual aids for Afimilk’s farmers.
Utilise Afimilk’s CRM (Sales Force) to track customer issues, enquiries and feedback.
About you

As this role is completely remote, we are looking for a professional who ideally has previous experience working from home. You will need to have an office set up and be comfortable working autonomously. You will bring:

A strong customer-first approach, putting Afimilk’s farmers first and ensuring they are looked after.
High level of discipline and drive. You will be able to manage your time effectively while working from home and travelling on the road.
A passion for agriculture and more specifically dairy industry. You love what you do and know how to build relationships with a range of customers across New Zealand.
Exposure and interest in Dairy Farming Technology and technology overall. You’ll have the ability to work across a variety of applications and enjoy the nuances that come with this.
Confidence when presenting to farmers in person and online. Previous experience in this space would be ideal as you will be speaking publicly for training purposes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide instructions and guidance. Collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and clients.
A natural ability to get farmers onside to build and maintain long-term relationships for the benefit of the farmer and Afimilk.
The ability to take ownership and accountability for your workload, asking for help when you need it and prioritising your time effectively, thriving in a self-motivating, demanding and dynamic environment.
An innovative mind, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of executing successful solutions for customers.
