We are searching for a young, dynamic, and high-performing sales team member to help us become market leaders in D2C, modern trade & e-commerce channels. She/he will be responsible to build D2C & Modern Trade segments with strong partners leading to cost and delivery optimization and easy availability for end consumers.
Key Responsibilities
• The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and executing the D2C channel (Big Basket, Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, etc.) and Modern Trade (Metro, Reliance Smart, Dmart, etc.) sales strategy & growth plans in line with business strategy.
• She/he will be responsible to drive profitability and deliver on the revenue and profit parameters.
• She/he should have the ability to drive the operations efficiently for all the channels.
• She/he will be responsible for retail sales growth supported by expanded distribution, opening new accounts & managing existing accounts.
• The person will be responsible for handling Trade Activation for D2C & MT Accounts for merchandising activities like new launches, visibility, and promotions conducted at the account level.
• She/he will be responsible for monitoring performance and taking corrective actions
• She/he will have to work closely with D2C Category Head in achieving the company's goals
• The person should have the ability to make decisions on matters relating to the day-to-day retail operations within their defined work, including the strategic planning and converting the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit
• The person will be responsible for producing and presenting a range of financial/non-financial reports to the team at regular intervals.
Person Profile
• MBA from tier 1 or 2 colleges with 2 to 5 years of experience with relevant exposure to D2C and MT sales from an FMCG background.
• Analytical & Critical Thinking skills – should be able to use logic & reasoning to justify the strengths & weaknesses of the alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Persuasive, Judgement & decision-making skills. Time management.
• Proven ability to problems solving & negotiations
• Proven ability to position products against competitors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
