We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at [Fintech Company Name]. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex financial data, providing insights, and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes within our organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Data Collection and Analysis:
• Gather and interpret data from various sources, including financial databases, APIs, and internal systems.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
• Financial Modelling:
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Performance Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored reports.
• Data Visualization:
• Create compelling visualisation, such as charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders through visual presentations.
• Ad Hoc Analysis:
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business inquiries, product development, and marketing initiatives.
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
• Data Quality and Integrity:
• Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions to maintain data integrity.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data management and documentation.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product Management, and Marketing, to support data-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and IT professionals to optimise data pipelines and ensure data accessibility.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience 2-4 Years , as a Data Analyst in the fintech industry or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including investment products, risk management, and financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
