What will your typical day look like?

Design Data Solutions: Architect comprehensive data solutions using modern platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (experience with Google Cloud is a differentiator)
Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure our solutions align with business objectives.
Optimize Data Architecture: Analyse and improve existing data architectures to enhance performance and scalability.
Oversee multiple end-to-end implementations of Data & AI projects, ensuring high-quality data management practices and supporting the engineering teams with architecture, engineering best practices and technology choices

Enough About Us, Let’s Talk About You.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

Experience: At least 5 years in data architecture or related roles, with a strong focus on modern data platforms having worked in areas like data platform infrastructure design, data engineering and orchestration
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in languages like SQL, Python and understanding of data modelling techniques.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud (BigQuery, DataFlow, DataFusion, VertexAI and similar services), or other key cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, particularly their data & AI services.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes is essential. Experience building various architecture and solution patterns, and data platform automation frameworks leveraging technologies like Airflow, Terraform (or similar technologies), Python etc
Knowledge of big data architectures and emerging trends in the field such as data mesh, fabric, medallion architecture
Demonstrated knowledge of AI/ ML and GenAI capabilities across a variety of technology vendors and cloud platforms
