About The Role

As a Data Business Analyst at Sportsbet you will be accountable for enabling the delivery of data driven outcomes and products.

These roles begin with early life initiatives, doing analysis to determine feasibility, acting as a liaison with business, translating their needs into a variety of requirements including process, data and integration specifications.

You’ll collaborate with a bunch of technologists to deliver new and innovative experiences to our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage stakeholder engagement, communications, and outcomes for early data initiatives
Gather and analyse requirements to define fit-for-purpose solutions
Break work down into MVPs and delivery phases to ensure timely, value-driven outcomes
Work with a business unit to manage their backlog of data related work keeping them informed of progress
Liaise with data consumers to secure governance sign-off
Champion data adoption across teams by showcasing capabilities and outcomes

About You

This position will play an integral role within our Data Ecosystem, focusing on enabling data driven outcomes. This team will have a direct impact on the decisions we make as a business and the way we engage with our punters.

You will have experience in Data Platforms and working with data requirements, with a highly analytical with a creative problem-solving approach, along with the following:

Ability to facilitate various meetings and workshops with wide range of stakeholders to understand business context and problems, elicit requirements and understand impacts.
Excellent communication skills, for both technical and business stakeholders.
Strong technical knowledge in data and analytics to assist in driving the right requirements and understanding the landscape.
Proven experience in complex problem solving and analytical thinking.
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
1-3 years previous experience in a Data Business Analyst role
