Role & Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize our data automation pipeline that integrates Looker Studio with Google Cloud services.
• Troubleshoot system failures, performance issues, and bugs in the reporting automation workflows.
• Develop and deploy enhancements to our cloud-based workflows and data pipelines.
• Work with BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Workflows to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with BI analysts to improve data visualization and insights.
• Leverage Generative AI and ML models for automation enhancements, insights generation, or content optimization.
• Ensure best practices in Python development, GCP security, and data governance.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Automation, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in Python and experience building data pipelines and cloud workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Workflows, Scheduler.
• Experience working with Looker Studio API / Looker Linking API.
• Strong understanding of BI tools, SQL, and data visualization principles.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data ingestion, and API integrations.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning, especially Generative AI concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in E-commerce analytics, marketing data pipelines, or seller performance tracking.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with TensorFlow, Vertex AI, or other ML tools is a plus.
• Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g., Data Engineer, ML Engineer, Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
