Role Description:

As a Product Manager for the Data Science and Data Strategy Team at Podimetrics, you will support the strategy, development, and enhancement of our data landscape and innovations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including digital product engineering (software engineering), business intelligence, marketing, operations, and clinical experts, to ensure seamless integration of data science models into production systems as well as guide users to accessing valuable data company-wide. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare technology, user needs, data systems and architecture, and analytics/AI product principles to drive product innovation and growth.

This role will initially focus heavily on Podimetrics’ Next Best Action (NBA) project, an AI and analytics driven approach to optimizing nurse-patient interactions to improve how patients engage with our technology and staff. In addition to work on the NBA, this role will engage in product build for all components of data science solutions, including new product expansion research, integration of new data sources, and algorithm development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Next Best Action engine, aligning with company goals and market demands. Define product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies. Incorporate into roadmap ancillary data science-based features and enhancements.
• Feature Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch. Define feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market research to inform product decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and iterate on product features to drive user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital product engineering, data engineering/strategy, design, marketing, sales, and clinical stakeholders, to align product initiatives with business objectives. Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges effectively across the organization.
• Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure that digital platform enhancements meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for healthcare data privacy, security, and accessibility. Work closely with compliance and legal teams to address regulatory issues and implement best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, partners, and executives, to gather feedback, validate product features, and build strong relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in healthcare technology, preferably in AI or analytics-driven digital health solutions.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT, electronic medical records (EMR), patient engagement, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Strong understanding of optimal organization structures
• Experience with agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
• Track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products, driving user adoption, and achieving business objectives.
• Knowledge of diabetic care, wound management, or related healthcare domains is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, CI/CD, ML Ops at a conversational and management level.
• Bachelor of science in engineering-related field: engineering, computer science, or management information systems.
• Masters in engineering or business related field a plus.
• Certifications in project management a plus.
