Qualifications
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our team
Have 5 years of relevant work experience in a software application production environment
This experience should have equipped you with practical knowledge of how databases function within a production - level software ecosystem
Database Proficiency: Demonstrate a solid understanding of various cloud - based databases, including but not limited to MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB
Be proficient in data backup and recovery techniques, as well as account and permission management within these database environments
You should be able to handle complex database operations with confidence and ensure data reliability
AWS and Cloud Expertise: Have in - depth knowledge of the AWS account and permission system
Possess practical experience in managing AWS accounts, being able to design and implement effective permission structures
This includes understanding how to manage user access across different AWS services to ensure security and operational efficiency
Have a good understanding of cloud environments, preferably AWS
This includes familiarity with cloud - specific tools and services for database management and deployment
Python Skills: Have a working knowledge of Python development
This requires the ability to understand and modify code to meet specific data management requirements, as well as the ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during script execution
Have the skills to deploy services on servers, manage server permissions, and perform routine system checks
This includes knowledge of server - level security measures, such as firewalls and user authentication, to ensure the stability and security of the overall infrastructure
Personal Attributes: Be self - motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast - paced environment
You should be able to work independently, take initiative, and manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing user accounts, data security, and database operations across multiple systems
You will oversee the configuration and management of user permissions for systems such as AWS, JumpServer, SendGrid, among others
Additionally, you will manage the backup and recovery processes for databases including MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, guaranteeing data integrity and availability
The Database Administrator will play a key role in ensuring that all user data handling operations comply with relevant security policies and regulatory standards
This includes performing system maintenance, deploying new systems, handling upgrades, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth and continuous service delivery
User Account and Data Security Management for Multiple Systems
Take charge of account management and ticket approval for user data - related systems such as AWS, JumpServer, SendGrid, Archery, Kibana, and Search
Ensure that user accounts and permissions are configured rationally to safeguard data security
This involves conducting regular reviews of account settings to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches
Database - Specific Account, Backup, and Recovery Management
Manage user accounts for MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch databases, as well as the associated database servers
Implement and oversee data backup and recovery procedures to guarantee data integrity and availability
Ensure that all authorizations are appropriate, following industry - best practices for security and compliance
User Data Handling and Compliance
Oversee the export and modification of user data
Ensure that all user data usage is not only reasonable but also fully compliant with security policies and relevant regulations
This includes conducting thorough reviews of data requests to verify the legitimacy of the operations
Data - Related System Operations and Maintenance
Perform comprehensive operations and maintenance tasks for data - related systems
This includes system deployment, whether it's a new installation or an upgrade, and efficient troubleshooting of any system failures
Ensure that all services remain highly available to meet the business needs of the organization
Be capable of reviewing and executing data - related scripts
Server Operations: Be familiar with basic server operations and maintenance
