The Database administrator is responsible for implementing, testing, maintaining, and controlling the organization’s databases, messaging, caching systems across multiple platforms, technologies, and computing environments

Knowledge And Experience

• 2+ years of Database Administration experience supporting one or more database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar technologies.
• Any exposure to Kafka, Redis, ELK or similar technologies will be a plus.
• Good knowledge of Linux / Unix operating systems is required. An exposure of Linux shell and strong programming skill in languages such as Python or Java or C/C++ or Perl or any other language is required preferably in a database context.
• Understanding of system architecture and system administration tasks is a plus.
• The person must have the aptitude to work with application and business data and must have the mind-set, ability to learn/support multiple data platform technologies and also work in a fast-paced business environment.
