Job Overview:
We're looking for a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to help us manage our database infrastructure. In this role, you'll be working closely with our team to ensure the optimal performance and security of our Oracle databases. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
• Database Administration: Oversee the daily operations of Oracle databases, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze database performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to improve database efficiency.
• RAC Environment Management: Design, implement, and maintain RAC environments to provide high availability and scalability.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in database production support with a focus on Oracle 1+c.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with RAC technology and application design.
• Familiarity with MS SQL server administration is a plus.
Precious Perks:
• Having experience in RAC and production support will be a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of Golden Gate will be viewed favorably.
• Familiarity with Oracle 1+c will be useful.
Interview Schedule:
The interview will take place at our office in Chennai, with face-to-face interactions during the weekend walk-in drive.
