Delivery Driver

Custom Metal Contracting is a family owned & operated company located in Calgary, Alberta. Due to our continued growth, Custom Metal Contracting is actively seeking a delivery driver and yard helper for our manufacturing shops.

We are looking for bright and energetic team members to join our team, the hours of work could be day shift (06:00am to 14:30pm) Afternoon Shift (14:00pm to 10:30pm) Shifts are fixed but may rotate in the future, a shift premium is payable in addition to a competitive hourly rate of pay.

Lift Truck Operator (LTO), Warehouse Worker will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down forklifts, pallet jacks,

What You'll Do:

Efficiently and safely load and unload material using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
Effectively stack and store material, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
In compliance with OSHA standards, operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety.
Must be able to meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and may be required to perform other duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed.
Assemble pallets.
Crate and pack parts for shipment.
What Experience and Education You Need:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Two years as a Forklift Driver in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Forklift License.

Will be required to tolerate working environment outside in all weather conditions.
Requires standing up to 5 hours, over the period of an 8-hour shift
Must be able to lift pallets of up to 70 lbs. and lift or carry products a minimum distance of 10 ft. without mechanical assistance.
