Role Summary

An opportunity has arisen within Salon Supplies, a professional hairdressing wholesaler, for a Delivery Driver, based at our Rustington Branch. This role is based on a 30 hour week, working Tuesday to Friday.

Key job accountabilities:

· Deliver orders to Salon Supplies Salon and Barber customers

· Deliver excellent customer service

· Represent Salon Supplies in a professional manner

· Develop rapports with customers

· Prepare/manage paperwork for each delivery round

· Load van for day’s delivery route

· Manage cash/cheque payments and/or taking card payments from customers

· Banking and reconciling of monies collected versus day sheet paperwork

· Weekly washing exterior, cleaning interior and maintaining company vehicle

Other adhoc duties you may be expected to fulfil (under the direction of the Depot Manager):

· Assembly of orders for dispatch to customers

· Answering the telephone and taking orders from salons and account managers

· Assist in the filling of shelves in cash and carry areas

· Helping unload deliveries if necessary

· Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures where needed

Essential skills required

· Full & clean driving license essential (this will be checked as part of the recruitment process)

· Excellent telephone manner

· Working as part of a store team

· Customer focused

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
