The Department of French at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton invites
applications for an 8-month limited term position at the rank of Assistant Teaching
Professor, commencing September 1, 2025, and ending May 1, 2026, subject to
budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in an area of French Studies, with a
specialization in Linguistics or Literature. Teaching duties will include undergraduate
French language courses, and a second-year course in French (European) literature.
Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of French and a good command of
English, as well as demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
The salary range and fringe benefits for this position is defined in the Association of
University of New Brunswick Teachers (AUNBT) 2022 - 2025 Collective Agreement sections
35 and 36B.
