Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the department.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including clubs and competitions, to enhance students' learning experiences.
We are looking for dynamic educators with strong backgrounds in Design and Technology, preferably with degrees in related fields and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) who demonstrate a passion for the subject and a commitment to professional growth.
