Design Director - High-End Single-Family Residential (AD100)

Job description
This is a terrific opportunity to lead a team within a young, women-led AD100 and Elle Decor A-List residential design studio. The Design Director will take on a client-facing role, oversee the design team, and work closely with the Principal Designer to develop and execute FF&E. Ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about high-end residential design.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience working at a high-end interior design firm in New York
• Proven experience managing teams, coordinating vendors, and managing project schedules
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
• Strong interior architectural drawing skills and a keen eye for high-end design
• Expertise in working with luxury vendors and furniture producers
• Excellent graphic presentation and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities, able to implement efficient systems for project management
• High personal integrity, responsibility, and ethics, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to set high expectations for self and team, driving them to achieve goals
• Friendly, positive, and open attitude with great customer service skills
