Design Estimator
Wickford
Hybrid - UK travel
The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Design Estimator to join an Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis.
This is a great role for an experienced candidate looking for the next step in their career, or a candidate with a geotechnical background to further develop skills in estimating and design.
The successful candidate will work hybrid out of our clients Wickford office 2-3 days per week. Travel across the UK to visit customers in also required.
Remote options may also be considered for experienced candidates.
Scope of role
- Preparation of tender designs and estimates in accordance with customer enquiries and internal procedure
- Securing profitable work of strategic benefit to the department and group
- Develop and enhance client relations from enquiry stage to point of order and beyond
Essential Criteria
- Full UK clean driving license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in either estimating, ground investigation, ground engineering or a geotechnical setting
- Previous pricing experience preferred but not essential
- Previous design experience preferred but not essential
