We are hiring a Device Technician for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team! At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting monthly lunch n’ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs.

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties May Include But Not Limited To
• Perform cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) analysis, interpretation and update programming changes prescribed by physicians for all device company brands
• Ability to interpret and manage remote home monitoring of CIEDs for remote monitoring companies
• Have working knowledge of rhythm interpretation for managing loop recorders
• Use nursing assessment and diagnosis to collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologist on CIED and how it relates to the patient's total treatment plan
• Perform output threshold testing of the pacemaker lead(s) to determine optimal settings for the device
• Interpret device parameters, battery and lead status, arrhythmias and heart rate histograms and determines underlying rhythm & sensing function
• Verifies final parameters and changes as directed by cardiologist/EP to achieve optimal pacemaker performance
• Enroll patients into device clinic and educate patients on CIED and remote monitoring
• Maintains necessary records and documentation on the patient's device
• Manages guidelines and protocols for device recalls
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Device School or 2 years of cardiac device management and function experience
• CCDS, International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification, Preferred
