THE POSITION



We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Specialist to join our Marketing Team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Content Specialist will work with the Marketing Team, key stakeholders and associated agencies to oversee the creation and execution of content across Brother's various digital channels. This involves the project management, research, scoping, creation, testing and execution of content, as part of Brother's Go-To-Market strategy



The Digital Content Specialist will:



Design and manage Brother's digital content marketing strategy in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders, using a data driven approach.
Research content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant, appealing and engaging, as well as ensuring SEO optimisation to drive organic performance.
Drive traffic and engagement, and optimize conversion rates to deliver sales and customer retention across various business segments
Manage ideation and content calendars to ensure content remains consistent across all platforms
Write content for use across a variety of platforms and channels i.e. blogs, whitepapers, infographics, eBooks, guides, templates, website copy, social media, and video.
Proofread and edit written content before publishing and coordinating with marketing, design, and agencies to ensure the timely delivery of strong, high quality content
Support the management and performance of agency partners
Review and optimise strategies for content distribution, amplification, analysing results and tracking content performance to measure campaigns against KPI's


THE PERSON



Ideally, you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Have a minimum of three years’ experience within a similar role, ideally in a corporate Marketing environment
Have a collaborative and engaged approach
Have experience with the ideation, development and production of content across a range of channels for various stages of the marketing funnel
Previous experience with managing content within a website Content Management System (CMS) preferred
Demonstrated experience analysing data and extracting insights within analytics and SEO platforms to drive content performance
Excellent writing capacity, with demonstrated experience delivering for a range of audiences and encompassing brand tone and personality
