Primary objective

The Digital Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and driving digital projects, strategies and activities across owned and

paid digital channels. The focus is on new project development, digital content creation, SEO and digital support across internal

business units while collaborating with external agencies.

Context statement

The Digital Marketing and Data Services team at Tourism NT has a mission to maintain and provide the most advanced and effective

digital marketing infrastructure to meet operational and strategic objectives for Tourism NT, whilst delivering expertise in digital

and data strategy, excellence in service delivery and compliance with cyber security and data protection regulations.

Key duties and responsibilities

As the Digital Coordinator in the Digital Marketing and Data Services team, you will:

Apply project management skills to support and manage digital projects for Tourism NT, ensuring delivery on time and within
budget.

Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging multimedia content, including videos and interactive elements.
Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to provide regular
reports and recommendations for improvement or experience-testing opportunities.

Ensure website content is accessible and adheres to web accessibility standards, enhancing the user experience for all visitors.
Optimise SEO on northernterritory.com, including technical SEO requirements using tools such as Monsido and keyword
research to improve search engine rankings.

Nurture relationships with stakeholders to establish digital requirements for campaigns and projects.
Support the finance and procurement activities of the digital and data services team, including reporting, tracking and
developing specific documents such as procurement specific project plans and memos.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Proven experience in digital marketing and content management, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.

2. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time

and within budget.

3. Experience supporting finance and procurement activities, including tracking budgets and developing procurement-specific

documents.

4. Proficiency in using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Contentstack or similar platforms.

5. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and performance tracking.

6. Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant software.

7. An enthusiastic team-player, willing to step in a support on all projects big or small.

8. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

+. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Desirable

1. A relevant tertiary qualification in digital marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
