Job Description :
Roles & Responsibilities: -
This position will manage marketing and communication strategies. He/she should be experienced in leading marketing and communications with demonstrated experience in establishing, developing and maintaining the strategic links between business needs and communication initiatives in the country. He/She should have excellent communication skills, ability and willingness to collaborate, and the ability to quickly adapt to resolve conflicts. He/She should be good at motivating team members to achieve maximum efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead Client’s Marketing efforts:
•Build and drive the Client’s brand through all marketing communications channels (with an emphasis on digital strategies) to maximize reputation, awareness and reach.
•Amplify the Client’s branding initiatives to support business growth and ensure consistency in the positioning and messaging of the Company’s corporate image building.
•Develop go-to-market strategies for new products for India
•Plan, implement and oversee all advertising campaigns
•Drive Client’s digital marketing efforts in India through innovative approaches like digital marketing, driving demand generation and traffic.
•Contribute and influence a roadmap for digital channel technologies, functionality, and platforms that deliver against the overall business objectives and strategies
•Apply digital marketing best practices to optimize the customer experience
•Drive a highly effective events plan, identifying various industry conferences/ exhibition opportunities to showcase the Client’s offerings
•Conceptualize and oversee the development of graphic, copy and video content using brand key communication framework ties.
2. Lead integrated 360-degree communications strategy and execution:
•Create a communication strategy for corporate and brand across all platforms (internal and external) aligned with corporate and brand priorities
•Oversee the implementation of internal and external communication initiatives and drive priority product communications as required by the business
•Manage and implement brand communications across all relevant social media platforms, events, digital marketing, marketing campaigns and PR to drive business growth in India
•Manage the Corporate website
•Oversee production of marketing materials to meet communication needs
•Serve as the country liaison with Global and Regional Communications and ensure cross-functional alignment
3. Administrative:
•Prepare and maintain accurate and up to date reports on all activities undertaken.
•Engage with external vendors/ agencies to produce impactful content.
•Create and manage the annual budget
4. Other Responsibilities:
•Work closely with MD and Business heads to establish, maintain and execute integrated marketing plans to drive demand generation and revenue growth.
Education and Experience Requirements
A. Essential
•A university degree in Mass or Media Communications
•8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Communications in a multi-national, matrixed environment, ideally with the pharma sector.
•Experience in managing the implementation of marketing communications strategies.
•Strong experience using multiple communications platforms, including digital, print and events (e.g., Newsletters, E-Bulletins, Intranet, CMEs, Exhibitions ,Conferences and Seminars etc.).
B. Desirable
•Strong experience in managing media relations for medical industry
•Strong experience in creation of communication plans (strategic and long-term plans) and content writing expertise relevant and aligned with business needs.
•Leadership skills for mentoring and providing direction to a team of 4 to 5.
