Job Summary
Jia Yin Academy is seeking a highly organized and creative Digital Marketing Specialist & Administrative Assistant to support both the administrative operations and marketing initiatives of our performing arts school. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the arts, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and has strong skills in communication, organization, and digital media. The position offers room for growth and the opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic and mission-driven team.
Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Outreach
Manage and grow Jia Yin Academy’s digital presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, etc.)
Create and schedule engaging content (photos, videos, student highlights, upcoming classes)
Assist in the planning and execution of digital campaigns and promotions
Design newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools
Track and report on digital engagement metrics
2. Sales & Customer Relations
Respond to inquiries about classes and programs via email, phone, and messaging platforms
Introduce class plans, schedules, and learning objectives to prospective and current students/parents
Guide new families through the registration process and provide follow-up support
Maintain and update client information in the CRM or registration system
3. Administrative Support
Coordinate with teachers on class schedules, room bookings, and any scheduling changes
Communicate key information between staff, students, and families in a timely and professional manner
Assist with general admin tasks such as data entry, document organization, and internal scheduling
Help coordinate rehearsals, events, and performances when needed
Proofread internal and external communications for clarity and accuracy
Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms
Experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management
Background in sales, client service, or education is a plus
Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and families
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about the performing arts and education
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
