Job Overview
This role is pivotal in ensuring the security compliance and reducing cyber risk to citizens and Service NSW. As a Security Partner, you will collaborate with digital product teams to enhance people, processes, and practices through capability uplift, secure by design practices, and implementation of initiatives.

The successful candidate needs to be a hands-on technical expert, with breadth of experience in digital technologies to communicate effectively and command respect of subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities
Develop high-level architecture diagrams, process sequence diagrams, and data flows to improve visibility of product architecture.
Conduct thorough threat modelling exercises to identify and assess potential risks.
Prioritize and address areas of risk, and identify opportunities for enhancing security integration.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to participate in a team making use of agile principles, have sound hands-on experience in software application development, and ability to advise and work with our principals and heads of engineering while ensuring substantial cyber security expertise.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside practical experience in threat modelling and conducting workshops and analysis of the threat landscape to advise and prioritize activities.

You must be a go-getter, proactive, and driven by thirst for continuous learning in current development practices.

In this role, ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights will be paramount.
