The Digital Services Manager is accountable to the Manager, Marketing and Communications Unit for leading the development and ongoing support of key online platform applications (internet / intranet) available to the community of South Australia and SAPOL staff. The Digital Services Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining seamless delivery of these online services from start to finish, supported with sound knowledge of user centric design, modern governance, risk and compliance methodologies and frameworks.

With the organisation looking to redevelop its online presence, the incumbent will work closely with all stakeholders to elevate the organisation’s offerings based on the ever-evolving needs of the community of South Australia and staff.

The Digital Services Manager is responsible for providing high-level strategic and technical advice, as well as identifying gaps, risks and opportunities in a digital context in order to drive continuous improvement of the Branch’s digital activities. The role will also strive to ensure other agency online platforms and third party applications are secure and comply with government guidelines, policies and procedures.

The Digital Services Manager also manages the helpdesk service for the internet and intranet, prioritising issues and requests and managing them through to resolution.

Special Conditions

The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some intra/interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.


Salary

ASO7 - $108,10+ - $116,864 per annum.
