Join our team as a Digital Website Officer (Clerk Grade 7/8)

Are you passionate about creating inclusive, accessible, and user-focused web content that makes a difference? We are excited to announce openings for multiple Digital Website Officer roles within the Curriculum Directorate of the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing (TLSW) division.

Location: Parramatta with access to flexible working arrangements available
Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 with base salary ranging from $110,266 to $122,058 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Temporary full-time opportunities up to 30 January 2030. Possibility for conversion to ongoing for temporary roles.

About the Curriculum directorate
The Curriculum Directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department’s response to the NSW Curriculum Reform.

About the role
In this key role, you will provide expert web content advice and services that support the delivery of quality curriculum resources and digital content. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create and maintain engaging, accessible, and WCAG 2.1-compliant content across our digital platforms. Your work will support teachers, students, and schools across the state to access essential learning materials.

Key knowledge and experience:
Proven experience in editing, structuring and publishing high quality web content.
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements.
Knowledge and experience of content management systems.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements:
Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
