Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Educator to join our dynamic team at the Little Green Treehouse Early Education Centre in North Rocks. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and education to our Preschool children, fostering their intellectual, social, and emotional development. This full-time position runs from Monday to Friday at 38 hours per week.

What we're looking for

A relevant degree Early Childhood Education or a Diploma qualification.

Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in a relevant Early Childhood setting.

Sound knowledge of the Pre Lit program by Multi Lit.

Strong understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour management strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children

Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check

Small centre where the preschool room is capped at 20 children.

3 hours of planning time per week with the option of additional hours dependant on any additional responsibilities taken on.
