Overview:

Job Description:

The Forensic Corporate Auditor will conduct operational and financial audits throughout PepsiCo in order to identify forensic risks and controls that may impact the integrity of reported financial information and/or the achievement of business objectives. The role will require strong forensic, analytical and presentation skills and is location free within Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities:

Accountabilities:

Business Knowledge
• Familiarization with the business by reviewing business operating and strategic plans prior to the start of the audit
• Undertake plant visits and market tours at the start of the audit (subject to remote ways of working) and record findings (in the Corporate Audit tool)
• Understand and comment on range of KPIs monitored by business management

Planning
• Identify potential key control risks prior to audit commencement and discuss with business during workshops
• Review the audit planning memo (prepared by director) and understand key business risks and other risks and their potential impact
• Prepare or validate risk and control matrix for each audit section

Audit Execution
• Understand and document assigned business process steps and underlying controls; identify potential efficiency opportunities
• Discuss Business Process Risk Assessment with management during audits and assist in identifying new risks
• Discuss processes and inherent risks with other audit team members
• Perform detailed testing to validate that controls are working; clearly document the results

Audit Reporting
• Present findings and action plans in the status meetings
• Complete and align findings, actions and owners with target completion dates in detailed audit report before audit close

Communication
• Present audit findings and process improvements, and their impact, clearly and concisely
• Clearly communicate audit exceptions to the audit director before each status meeting
• Present findings and impact accurately and concisely to management during close meetings

Teamwork
• Participate actively in audit planning discussions
• Discuss audit findings and process improvements with the rest of the audit team at least weekly before status meetings
• Share knowledge with other team members (e.g., share best practices or relevant information gathered during audit work)
• Participate in audit rating process in final two weeks of the audit
• Participate in preparation of the audit Executive Summary
• Provide Director feedback on each assignment and suggestions on improvements to the process
• Participate in team dinners and team building events during each audit

Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business or Engineering preferred)
• 4 -7+ years of experience in Forensic Audits
• Previous Big 4 or Public Accounting experience preferred
• Previous experience in FMCG preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CPA) are preferred
• As regards travel, please note audits are currently being executed remotely. We will assess travel % further in coming months in light of new ways of working
• Minimum 2-3 year commitment to the group
• Proficiency in forensic accounting software and tools
• Experience of Data analytics interpretation, SAP application, and IT General Controls is preferred
• Strong English communication skills are required (both written and verbal)

The Director, Business Operations is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence. What you'll be doing Key Responsibilities: Establishes and optimizes day-to-day operational activities, including revenue and sales growth, expense, cost and margin control and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. Leads efforts to develop and improve through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organizational resources. Directs operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets. Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations to meet budget and other financial goals. Supports with development and implementation of a system to track and report on the progress of strategic plan implementation. Ensures that all department heads are fully informed of the operational objectives of the business. Participates in the design and development of operational processes, policies and improvements related to these processes for each department in their domain. Ensures that operational activities comply with organizational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations and general duty of care. Participates in acquisition and growth activities that support overall business objectives and plans. Advises the management team and/or department heads on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions. Facilitates regular meetings with department heads to ensure that operational objectives are achieved. Implements all tactical human resource procedures, managing and leading team(s), setting goals and managing performance accordingly. Knowledge and Attributes: Strategic leader with creative and financial acumen coupled with strong business intellect necessary for taking the business to the next level. Significant ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. Significant business acumen, financial expertise, and strategic planning skills. Significant problem-solving skills. Significant leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with executives at a strategic and tactical level. Significant understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field. Required Experience: Significant experience gained within a similar senior leadership role preferably within a similar global organization. Significant hands-on experience in strategic planning, and business operations. Significant leadership skills with excellent work ethic.
