What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Data Management team. The mandate of the role is to be accountable to establish and enable the data governance and data management policy, standards, procedures, and processes across the enterprise. This role will collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Business and Technology to ensure that data-intensive programs and projects will implement and in-grain the enterprise requirements for operationalization to sustain the enterprise data governance needed for compliance. This role will monitor adherence to data management practices across the organization to ensure the availability of high-quality metadata and data, consultative and subject matter expertise, and ensuring all users of data understand policies, procedures, and standards.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

You have comprehensive knowledge of managing Business functions with the proven ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders. You are a recognized SME with strong knowledge of process methodology and process creation. This role requires someone who is highly analytical, articulate, and able to strategize and then present solutions to Sr. leadership. This role may have a small number of direct reports (4 – 6).
