The Opportunity
The Director, Field Operations is accountable for implementing, leading and improving analytical activities in support of the U.S business. This position will be responsible for business analytics, incentive compensation and field communication within the U.S. commercial team. They will report to the VP, Commercial Operations. This position will work cross-functionally across the organization in support of commercial goals across all neuromuscular products.
What You Will Contribute
Collaborate with sales, marketing, market access, advocacy and medical affairs to ensure seamless alignment of field operations solutions with the go-to-market strategies.
Gather KPI reporting requirements (medical, sales, marketing, market access, patient services) automate reporting, performance analytics, and KPIs, providing real-time insights to leadership and field team.
Develop and implement territory mapping, sales force sizing, and deployment strategies to maximize market coverage and efficiency.
Continuously assess, refine and maintain field force alignment to ensure optimal resource allocation, balanced workloads and improved market penetration
Design and manage incentive compensation plans that align with business objectives and drive high performance.
Establish a data-driven targeting and segmentation framework, leveraging claims data, HCP prescribing behaviors, and market dynamics.
Oversee Veeva CRM implementation and optimization, ensuring accurate customer master data and actionable insights for field teams.
Partner with IT to deliver functional requirements for CRM (Veeva) infrastructure/build, ensuring stability and maximizing utility for commercial team.
Implement field force enablement tools and training, equipping and training the field teams with the right resources for success.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes, technologies, and analytics capabilities to drive commercial excellence.
Develop and implement patient journey analysis using longitudinal claims data to identify key engagement opportunities.
Drive AI/ML integration and omnichannel engagement strategies to enhance go-to-market initiatives.
Design trigger-based targeting platforms, leveraging claims, lab data, and predictive modeling to enable proactive sales and marketing outreach.
Implementation and maintenance of field programs such as motor vehicle and reimbursement.
Oversee field force deployment, segmentation, and incentive compensation strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Manage and execute budget planning process, ensuring cost-effective operations and alignment with commercial goals.
What We Seek
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
8+ years of experience in commercial operations, analytics, or sales force effectiveness in biotech/pharma.
Strong expertise in ultra-rare and specialty disease markets.
Proficiency in SQL, Qlik, Veeva CRM, and data visualization tools.
Demonstrated ability to develop predictive analytics models, trigger-based targeting, and AI/ML-driven insights.
Strong analytical and financial acumen skills with high proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel is a must; should have the ability to assess and summarize large amounts of information and develop recommendations
Experience in launching and scaling commercial infrastructure for new product launches.
Proven success in leading cross-functional projects that enhance commercial effectiveness.
Strong strategic mindset, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skill
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple
