Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of People Operations plays a critical role in leading cross functional teams through a number of people strategies and processes
In this role, you will develop and iterate comprehensive recruiting and retention strategies
You will be a champion of creating a culture of belonging through diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
You will bring an unwavering energy to solve complex employee relations issues
You will feel empowered to move the business forward with your HR influence by taking ownership of your work
The Director of People Operations is responsible to shift regularly between strategy and detailed day to day execution in support of the business
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership for HR strategy and best practices in support of the company's mission, vision, and values
Lead regular business meetings with respective business units both separately and cross functionally
Utilize data sources to assess and find solutions for improved performance and productivity in key areas
Lead and manage the team and daily workflow of the People Operations department to achieve excellence in all HR functions
Execute a comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion strategy that fosters a culture of belonging at the organization
Develop and implement employee-centric programs including employee celebrations, recognition incentives, and remote engagement initiatives
Champion industry compliance and best practices in all disciplines of HR, including but not limited to, hiring, health and safety, leaves and benefits
Develop data-driven HR policies, procedures, and processes throughout the employee lifecycle
Provide guidance and interpretation for effective use
Lead and manage employee compensation and benefits programs and processes
Guide and coach leaders through effective performance management practices and processes, including employee separations
Respond to employee questions in a timely manner with fair and consistent application of practices and policies
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and misconduct in a timely manner
Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
