Director of Sales Marketing

Minimum Experience: 03 years as Director of Sales and Marketing at any Luxury Resort/ Retreat.

Salary: As per industry standard

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of the resort/hotel/tented accommodation. This includes identifying market trends and opportunities, setting sales targets, and developing sales plans to achieve these targets.

Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for the resort/hotel/tented accommodation, including identifying potential clients, creating relationships with travel agencies, and promoting the resort/hotel/tented accommodation through various channels such as trade shows and networking events. Also should have detail knowledge of inbound business and MICE.

Revenue Management: Develop and implement pricing and revenue management strategies to maximize profitability for the resort/hotel/tented accommodation. This includes monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities to increase revenue.

Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage the sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to achieve sales targets. This includes setting sales goals, creating sales incentives, and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including meeting planners, travel agents, and other industry partners. This includes providing exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries in a timely manner, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports for the resort/hotel/tented accommodation's leadership team, including analysis of sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity. Use this information to inform sales strategy and make recommendations for improvement.

Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing materials and campaigns that support the sales strategy. This includes providing input on target markets, messaging, and promotional activities. Should have knowledge of developing and implementing marketing strategies, market research, making and managing marketing budget, various collaboration, developing and implementing the social media and digital marketing strategies, analysing the marketing performance and to take necessary corrective actions, building relationships with key stakeholders.

Industry Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, attending industry events and conferences, and maintaining a strong network of contacts in the industry.
