Key Responsibilities
Lead internal and external communications and media functions for Austin Health, including managing relationships with key stakeholders and the media
Serve as the brand steward for Austin Health, ensuring consistency and coherence across all corporate brands
Counsel and mentor team members to drive exceptional performance and foster a culture of excellence
Design, develop, and implement effective communication strategies aligned with Austin Health's strategic goals
Provide expert issues management advice and strategic counsel to the CEO, executive team, and clinical leads
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within comms, media, or corporate affairs
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated communications and engagement strategies
Proven track record in media and issues management
A strong commitment to cultural safety and embedding a measurement and improvement culture
