Job Overview
DEN Urban Dog Retreat is a wellness-based dog campus focused on calm, structured, and high-quality care. We’re hiring a Dog Groomer to join our team in a low-stress, small-batch grooming environment with consistent client flow.
This is not a high-volume shop. We focus on quality, experience, and long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners.

What We Offer

Compensation
$25–$30/hour base pay (depending on experience)
Tips averaging $100–$150 per day
Full-time groomers can realistically earn:
$70,000–$95,000+ annually (base + tips combined)
Consistent client flow and strong tipping cultureResponsibilities
Perform full grooming services: bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling
Work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
Handle dogs safely and calmly throughout the grooming process
Assess coat and skin condition and communicate with clients when needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming workspace
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Grooming experience preferred (open to strong candidates)
Ability to groom independently and manage time effectively
Strong dog handling skills and awareness of behavior
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Positive attitude and interest in long-term growth
