About the Role:

The candidate will play a key role in expanding and maintaining relationships with major donors, fostering long-term partnerships, and ensuring the success of fundraising initiatives. He/She will drive donor engagement, build strategic alliances, and secure funding for programs aligned with the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate relationships with high-value donors and partners.
• Manage a portfolio of major donors, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
• Lead donor engagement activities, including events, presentations, and site visits.
• Collaborate with program teams to prepare impactful proposals and presentations.
• Analyze and report on donor activity, engagement, and retention to inform strategy.
• Identify new funding opportunities and potential donors through research and networking.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a relevant field, with a track record of securing high-value donations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking, with an ability to develop and execute complex donor engagement strategies.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
