Job Title: Driver (Weekend)
Location: Victoria University of Wellington - Weir House
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team at Victoria University of Wellington. As a Weekend Driver, you will be responsible for safely and punctually completing daily driving tasks, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to our safety culture.
Drive vehicles under operational conditions, adhering to all road and parking rules.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining the quality and condition of goods.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance, keeping vehicles clean and refueled.
Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety plans.
Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and Executive Chef to address potential issues.
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with good communication skills.
A flexible approach and attitude, being a good team player.
Physically fit and reliable with a valid driver's license.
Customer service experience and the ability to undertake non-technical maintenance tasks are highly regarded.
