Courier and Delivery Excellence: Navigate predefined routes via automobile to deliver mail and parcels, ensuring timely and safe delivery
Freight Handling: Manage the loading, unloading, and proper distribution of freight, adhering to safety and efficiency protocols
Operational Support: Serve as a critical point of support for dock operations, including assisting with the organization and management of shipping and receiving areas
Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for the routine maintenance and operational readiness of delivery vehicles, including inspections and compliance with all safety regulations
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate logs and time stamps for items received and delivered, supporting chain of custody requirements and ensuring compliance with company standards
Client and Employee Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service to both clients and SPS employees, enhancing the professional image of the company
Additional Support: Proactively seek out additional tasks during downtime and provide support across various operational areas as needed
The role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, and maneuvering freight up to 60 lbs
