Summary of Interior Designer Role
A London-based architecture and design practice are seeking a skilled senior interior designer/ architect, ideally with Revit skills to join the team. A large focus of the role is on hospitality, spa and wellness projects. The deal designer will have a creative flare, and an eye for bold and innovative designs.
Interior Designer Responsibilities
• Assist the team with concept design and presentation tasks, including image sourcing, 3D sketching and modeling, Photoshop editing, and setting up/printing presentation boards and booklets.
• Aid in the preparation of planning and construction AutoCAD drawings, ranging from master plans to small architectural and joinery details.
• Accompany the team on site visits and assist in resolving any queries that arise during the project implementation phase.
• Support the general wellbeing of the team and contribute to overall productivity by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Demonstrate a natural passion for great design and maintain a high attention to detail in both interior design and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Possess a good knowledge of furniture and materials, including where to source them from, which is highly desirable for this role.
• This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK
Skills Necessary for this Interior Designer Role
• This role requires at least 7 years professional design experience.
• Must have proven experience working on luxury hospitality projects.
• Must be competent in AutoCAD and Adobe CS.
• Proficiency in Revit is an additional benefit to this role.
• Must be experienced in leading a team and guiding Junior and Middleweight designers.
• This role involves delivering exceptional communication throughout the project and requires an efficiency in facilitating a seamless delivery of the project.
• A passion for design and drive to succeed both independently and in a team.
• Must have a degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
