Role Overview:
The E-commerce Operations Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, inventory management, and coordinating with various stakeholders to enhance customer experience. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order Management: Monitor and process online orders across multiple e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, etc.), ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Coordinate with warehouses and internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure accurate listings.
• Listing & Catalog Management: Ensure all product listings are up to date with correct descriptions, pricing, and images.
• Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Work with third-party logistics providers to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and optimize fulfillment processes.
• Customer Support Liaison: Address customer queries related to orders, refunds, and returns, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Promotions & Pricing: Assist in setting up promotions, discounts, and pricing updates across e-commerce platforms.
• Sales & Performance Tracking: Generate reports on sales performance, returns, and other key e-commerce metrics, providing insights to improve efficiency.
• Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with platform-specific policies and industry best practices.
Key Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis).
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and Shopify.
• Basic knowledge of order management systems (OMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in managing listings, stock, and reports.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational issues related to orders, logistics, and platform policies.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
