$23.+1-30.2+/hr Term Position (Leave coverage until August 15, 2025)

We're currently looking for an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) who’s enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to help nurture the next generation. In this role, you'll support a welcoming space where children can explore, grow, and thrive—physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
What You’ll Do:
Work side-by-side with experienced ECEs to plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities
Create a warm, inclusive environment that reflects our respect for Stó:lō culture and traditions
Supervise and support children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
Keep our space clean, safe, and inviting
Help prepare snacks, arrange learning spaces, and guide children throughout the day
Support each child's individual development through positive guidance and attentive care
What You Bring:
Experience working with Indigenous children and communities is a strong asset
Respect for and understanding of Stó:lō culture, language, and traditions is highly valued
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
A cheerful, can-do attitude with a deep sense of responsibility
Creativity, patience, and a passion for helping kids learn through play
Qualifications:
Valid ECEA or ECE License to Practice in BC
Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain – considered an asset)
Immunization declaration
