Job Summary
Back in Nature Childcare Inc., is seeking a candidate who has their ECE certification, Waldorf trained or has some experience of Waldorf and or, who is interested in Waldorf Education. We are also willing to hire , train and support an ECEA who is very interested in Waldorf education to complete their ECE. We are seeking someone who is kind, patient, embraces community, has a passion to guide and care for young children with reverence and respect, enjoys observation/study of child development that supports planning, has a great work ethic, happy coming to work and who would love to be a part of our growing centre. Teamwork and open communication is a must!
Children are engaged in all aspects of their daily routine and our days are filled with creative free play, circle time, storytelling, nursery rhymes, singing. activities , ample time exploring the seasonal wonders of nature year round.
This position will start part time of 20 hours a week and for the right person will lead to a full time position as well as wage increases.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized attention to children, ensuring their unique needs are met.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized space that promotes learning and creativity.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and Waldorf training
Requirements
Experience working with children
A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to create and support a positive, inclusive environment
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications
ECE Certificate
First aid
Other Educational certificate/degree that supports Early childhood development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop engaging lesson plans

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 35 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
