Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the E-commerce Business Manager is to oversee and coordinate the company's online sales channels, which include the company's website and third-party marketplaces. The role involves ensuring the achievement of sales targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and optimizing the online user experience. The E-commerce Business Manager collaborates closely with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, IT, and Customer Service, to accomplish these objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute an e-commerce strategy to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including tasks such as product listing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
• Optimize the website and third-party marketplaces for search engine visibility, user experience, and conversion rates.
• Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to enhance them.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and implement digital marketing campaigns, encompassing email marketing, social media initiatives, and paid advertising.
• Work closely with the IT department to maintain and enhance the functionality and usability of the e-commerce platform.
• Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends and best practices, implementing relevant ones as appropriate.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and e-commerce platforms.
Requirements:
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a life sciences related company.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Demonstrate excellent project management abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Display a solid understanding of e-commerce technology and best practices.
• Have experience with various e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, 1 Mg, Netmeds, etc.
• Show familiarity with digital marketing techniques, including email marketing, social media strategies, and paid advertising
