JOB DESCRIPTION OF E-COMMERCE MANAGER

●Job Role:

Marketplace, strategy, management, forecasts and results. These include short- and long-term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance. Develop reports and reporting formats.

Oversee the day-to-day marketplace E-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance and performance.

Develop and implement E-commerce strategy in order to improve website performance.

Work with developers to improve website speed.

Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition.

Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations. This is a tactical job of maintenance of the site through Amazon and Channel Advisor.

Reconciliation of Marketplace listings.

Re-Platforming website to new CMS, making website mobile capable.

Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance.

Analyse various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve goal.

Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media.

Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development.

Report on performance.

Develop cost center budgets for marketplace E-commerce.

●Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an E-commerce Manager or in a similar role.

Experience in E-commerce Amazon, Flipkart and Channel Advisor platform administrative tools (Other marketplaces are a Plus).

Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and content management systems and processes.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative.

Strong project management skills.

Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions.

Experience in DTC accessories or apparel environment preferred, with E-Commerce marketplace.

Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools
