Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or Computer Engineering) - focus on hardware and/or power
Ideal candidates will have 1-2+ internships or MECOP's in addition to their degree
Strong knowledge of electrical principles and circuit design
Strong conceptual knowledge of fuses, relays, and circuit breakers
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Additional Skills & Helpful Qualifications
Experience in power distribution systems for low voltage systems
Experience interpreting industry standards into component and/or system-level requirements (e.g., SAE, VDA, IEEE)
Self-starter personality, able to work with minimal supervision
Motivation and curiosity regarding position topics and challenges
Direct commercial vehicle experience in any capacity
Experience in technical documentation and specification analysis
Experience with processes and release management
Experience with ELM suite (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next, Rhapsody)
Local talent to the Portland, OR area will be prioritized due to logistical factors and needing to start work 100% onsite by March

Responsibilities
This role focuses on power generation, power distribution, power conversion, and energy storage by creating and maintaining the vehicle's low voltage architecture
You will collaborate with global component owners that require low voltage circuit protection for conventional diesel, electric, and autonomous vehicle platforms on medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles

The role involves a mix of meetings (10-25%), collaborative work (25-50%), and independent tasks (25-50%), requiring the ability to determine next steps, take initiative, and solve problems independently

This role focuses on power generation, power distribution, power conversion, and energy storage by creating and maintaining the vehicle's low voltage architecture.
