About the Role
CSL Australia is seeking a permanent full-time Electrical Engineer Technician to join our cement carrier, Goliath. The role involves managing and maintaining all cargo handling systems, including electrical and electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting tests of electrical systems, preparing charts and tabulations, and assisting in estimating costs in support of the Chief Engineer.
Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment.
Aadopting safe working practices.
UMS test schedules, alarm test etc.
Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance.
First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment.
Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations.
About You
We are looking for an individual with:
Minimum 6 months sea time as an Electrical Engineer Technician.
An AMSA or Maritime NZ Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency.
Currently holding unlimited Australian Working rights or New Zealand citizenship.
A MSIC Card (required or ability to obtain).
Located in either Australia or New Zealand.
