Responsibilities
Summary: The Electrical Mechanic I is responsible for performing skilled work such as troubleshoot problems, installation, preventative maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems, wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment; and performs related work as required

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Troubleshoot fully automated machines and equipment to determine root cause for downtime or quality issues and make repairs to correct the issue and restore equipment to its original state

Responsible for following the test, maintenance, and installation procedures established
May assist in the development of procedures or the checkout of electrical systems where established procedures are inadequate and non-existent
Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and recommend improvements and modifications of the equipment to improve performance
Comply with all established safety rules, company policies, and procedures
Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of electrical spare parts
Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas
Perform other duties as required

Essential Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot fully automated machines and equipment to determine root cause for downtime or quality issues and make repairs to correct the issue and restore equipment to its original state. 45% 2. 3. Responsible for following the test, maintenance, and installation procedures established. May assist in the development of procedures or the checkout of electrical systems where established procedures are inadequate and non-existent. 15%
