We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our elite production and engineering team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Technician at RK Wire Harness, your core responsibilities will include:
Assist in the design, development and testing of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and associated electrical systems
Support inspection and evaluation of incoming components to ensure compliance with product specifications and tolerances
Participate in the assembly and testing of prototypes to verify functionality against customer provided design specifications
Conduct full functional test and record results for harness assemblies and electrical subsystems before ship out
Setup, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment used in the manufacturing and testing processes
Assist with development of standard operating procedures and electrical schematics for various assemblies and electrical subsystems
Calibrate testing instruments and equipment in accordance with manuals and written procedures
Collect and compile test data and assist in the preparation of estimates, specifications and technical reports
Skills and Requirements:
Completion of a 1–2 year college program in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
Technical knowledge of electrical and electronics components and interconnect systems
Hands-on experience or familiarity with electronic test equipment, calibration tools and troubleshooting techniques
Working knowledge of Electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD or DraftSight)
Ability to create schematics, develop BOMs and technical documentation
Detail-oriented mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Bonus if you have prior experience in an electrical manufacturing environment.
