Service Wire is a premier manufacturer of industrial, utility, and commercial wire and cable. Our regional manufacturing location in Phoenix is seeking conscientious and team-oriented Machine Operator Helpers to join our organization. We provide on-the-job training and offer many opportunities for you to grow your career in manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load and unload reels
• Set equipment parameters on rewinding, auto winders, and other related equipment.
• Follow all documented instructions including detailed packaging specifications
• Perform basic quality inspections of final product
• Have sufficient knowledge of extrusion process to be able to operate the line while the operator is away
• Prepare legible reports and record daily production information
• Maintain safety standards and organized work environment

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions
• Ability to stand and move about facility for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.
• Ability to operate fast-paced equipment
• Must be available to work 2nd shift - Mon-Fri, 3pm - 11:30pm or 3rd shift - Sun - Thurs, 10:30pm - 7:00am. ($1.00/hr. shift differential for each shift)

Environment: Depending on site, it will include working on the exterior and interior of buildings. The Helper must be able to work in all conditions daily. Also, some work will be in restricted areas, often in cramped places or performed at heights from ladders, scaffolds, etc.
