Job Title: Electrician

Job Pupose:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, particularly in a plant environment. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and performing maintenance work in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Motor Connections: Good knowledge in connecting different types of motors and ensuring their proper functionality.
Star Delta Connection: Proficiency in Star Delta motor connections and understanding of motor control systems.
Overhead Crane Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of overhead cranes and their electrical components.
Amperage Parameters: Monitor and ensure correct amperage levels for various electrical equipment and machinery.
Earthing Checks: Perform regular earthing checks to ensure electrical systems are safe and properly grounded.
Wire Sizing: Good understanding of various wire sizes and their applications in electrical installations.
Electrical Testing: Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Fuses: Knowledge of fuses, their ratings, and troubleshooting electrical issues related to fuses.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician in a plant or industrial environment.
Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Certifications: Holding a valid Electrician License.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with motor control systems, including Star Delta connections.
Proficiency in electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices, wiring standards, and electrical codes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in tight or confined spaces.
Comfortable working at heights or in challenging environments such as plant floors and machinery areas.
