The Opportunity

Responsible for overseeing production of a designated area, while assisting in the daily planning. This role will require 20% daily capacity of leadership functions.


The Role

The primary point of contact for the assigned area, liaise and provide guidance with Production team.
Identify capacity requirements and effectively resource plan.
Ensure that daily team meetings are being performed with feedback to management on safety, production, quality and maintenance issues.
Review requisitions and forward to Purchasing.
Support training of new employees.
Daily review of time sheets to ensure proper coding and job allocation.
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Accountable for budget performance.
Actively participate in kick off meetings.

The Candidate

Education: High School diploma
Work Experience: 5 years of production environment
Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, preferably knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. Electro-mechanical experience. Knowledge of Electric Motors.
