The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Embroidery Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cairns, Queensland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing orders, operating embroidery machines, and ensuring high-quality output with attention to detail. You will be working a set schedule, including Saturdays, in a fast-paced environment with a small, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Organising orders for embroidery
Running embroidery machines and completing orders
Ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Strong work ethic, dedication, and motivation
Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Computer skills (Wilcom embroidery program knowledge preferred)
Bonus Skills
Experience operating Barudan embroidery machines
Graphic design and digitisation experience
CorelDRAW knowledge
Sewing and alterations experience
Graphics or heat press experience
